Aupair in the USA

GlobalAupair, in association with an US-American organisation, offers for most of the German, Austrian and Swiss applicants to spend their Aupair year in the USA.

Generally, all applicants must be/have:

between 18 and 26 years old

at least finished high school

speaking good English

healthy

a clean certificate of good conduct

certified experience with childcare

Most of the American families ask for the Aupair to have/be:

20 years old or more

a driving licence and driving experience

worked at least 200 hours in childcare

speaking very good english

a good cooker

basic knowledge in first aid

open for other races, religions and single parent families

able to take care of at least 3 children

good references in childcare

worked before as a nanny or babysitter or to take part in a babysitter training
